HIPnation Acquires Contact Free, Technology Developed by Band of Coders, to Advance the Development of an AI-native Technology Platform to Support its Innovative Healthcare Ecosystem

On June 10, 2025, HIPnation completed the acquisition of Contact Free as part of a strategic initiative to advance its technology capabilities. The integration of Contact Free’s platform will serve as the cornerstone of HIPnation’s comprehensive technology stack, supporting the organization’s mission to deliver a modern, patient-centered healthcare experience through a fully integrated and technology-enabled ecosystem.

Technology investment in healthcare has and continues to focus on an insurance-driven, third-party payor model. It is built to manage coding, billing, reimbursement, inefficient administrative processes, and enterprise reporting and monitoring. The healthcare technology of today does not enhance the experience of either clinicians or patients, and its culture is one of imposition and depersonalization.

As founder of Contact Free and now CTO of HIPnation, he is leading the development of a vertically integrated, AI-native healthcare stack—combining member services, EHR, and real-time care navigation into a unified platform designed to reduce complexity, lower cost, and improve clinical outcomes.
